Welcome to SoundCheck!

SoundCheck began as a side-project, during the pandemic, as a custom band website for friends of mine.

It was a time when local music venues were shuttered and even a few closed their doors permanently. Musicians and everyone else involved in the music scene were suffering financially.

So I spent a week brainstorming and came up with a plan to build much more than a single site for one band. So much so that I decided to leave my current programming job and make this my full-time gig. I was already working at home, after all.

I began interviewing some of my musician friends, local music venue owners and promoters, audio techs and recording professionals. With all of this input, I decided this was quite a lot to manage on one website.

So, I'm building SoundCheck in phases; the first phase is intended for musicians of all stripes and skill levels, and artists and bands who are already performing live. Later phases will target venues and promoters, and then other music-related businesses.

I'm well aware musicians are not getting paid nearly as much as they should, and I plan to offer several features FREE OF CHARGE. So I'm hoping you'll Sign Up and enjoy these features on the BASIC user plan.

I will be offering enhanced features, at a much more affordable cost than you'll find on other sites. So check out the available User Plans.

• SoundCheck is available in English, French, German, and Spanish. More languages are coming!
